TEXTILE: a latin word meaning to weave.
A Textile Mill is a factory that creates textiles, flexible material that is also known as yarn or thread. Textile manufacturing is one of the oldest industries, starting in 5000 B.C.
There are four different steps in creating texiles; yarn formation, fabric formation, wet processing, and fabrication. The yarn is made by weaving or knitting. Eventually fabric is created.
There is also four different types of textiles; cotton, wool, silk, nylon, polyester.
